Considering that Nintendo is playing catch-up when it comes to most of its online services, you may be pleasantly surprised to learn that the latest entry in the Mario Kart franchise will allow for sharable clips and customisable tournaments that can shared through Mario Kart TV.
Mario Kart TV will record every match you take part in from start to finish, allowing users to customise the footage however they like. The game will only store the last 12 races, though, so you had best make the most of your epic win before it becomes old news. Mario Kart TV also allows users to post videos that are 60 seconds or less straight to their YouTube account, another first for Nintendo.
The features were shown off in San Francisco at a recent demo to members of the press. Mario Kart 8 is set to launch on the 30th of May.
