Dragon Age: Inquisition, the third game in the epic Dragon Age RPG series, is set to have a co-op mode, developers BioWare have announced.
The co-op mode will be a standalone mode that will be separate from the main single player campaign. According to BioWare the new mode will be similar to Mass Effect 3's co-op multiplayer mode, and will be based around a dungeon crawler experience where players must help each other to progress.
"Following the success of Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode, Dragon Age multiplayer includes fast-paced matches requiring strategic team gameplay while adding Inquisition's tactical class combat and extensive loot and crafting systems," BioWare said in a blog post that consists of a detailed FAQ on the new mode.
One thing in particular to note is that as the co-op mode is completely separate to the main campaign, any items or experience gained in it will not be transferrable to the single player campaign.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will release this November on PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
