Peter Molyneux, the creator of Fable and, more recently, God strategy game Godus, has said that he is "done talking with the press".
The statement comes amid rising anger over his new studio's inability to deliver on the promises made during the Kickstarter campaign for Godus.
In an interview with The Guardian, Molyneux states that his family has been threatened and so this is the best thing to do:
“I am so honoured to be a part of the games industry, but I understand that people are sick of hearing my voice and hearing my promises. I think honestly the only answer to this is for me to completely stop talking to the press...
I think people are just sick of hearing from me. They’ve been sick of hearing from me for so many years now. You know, we’re done.”
