Shaun Hastings is a British modern day assassin and a recurring character in the Assassin's Creed series. Unlike the rest of the assassins, Shaun was not born into the order, but recruited after his research into Abstergo left him a target to the Templars.
He is a historian and an analyst, giving Desmond Miles important historical information and advice when he is inside the animus. He is irritable and sarcastic, but highly talented, and a valuable part of the Order (just ask him).
