The Tactician is a character and PoV system in Fire Emblem. The Tactician plays only a minor role in the story, instead he is meant to function as a self insert character, and is the only character in the game with a changeable name. Most pictures and scenes are meant to be seen from the perspectiv eof the Tactician.
The Tactician first appears in the begginning of Lyn's Mode, where she finds him unconscious on the plains of Sacae. He proceeds to help her throughout her journey, leaving to continue his studies after Lundgren's defeat. He appears again in the beginning of Eliwood's Mode, where he is found in a village being terrorized as bandits, and joins Eliwood and Hector's troupe for the remainder of the game. He serves little role, but is required to get the powerful Afa's Drops item from Athos.
