Nintendo

Nintendo Co., Ltd. is a Japanese video game manufacturer with headquarters in Kyoto, Japan. Founded on September 23, 1889 by Fusajiro Yamauchi, Nintendo started by produced handmade hanafuda cards and moved into video games in 1974 by securing the rights to distribute the Magnavox Odyssey video game console in Japan.

Nintendo's first hardware was in 1977, with the Color TV Game home video game consoles and today Nintendo is the most successful video game company in the world with a market value of over US$ 85 billion.
