Chris joined the Air Force at around 17, where he was a pilot and marksman. He has high recommendations from his commanding officers, although he tended to come into conflict with them a lot. This led to him being discharged from the Air Force, although some sources say he retired.
After the Air Force, Chris would go on to become a member of the S.T.A.R.S. police force, where he was a point man and a co-pilot for the Alpha team. While he was a part of this unit, he met his close friend and partner, Jill Valentine. However, after the events of Resident Evil, the team was disbanded and he would later help found B.S.A.A., which he is still working with today.
