Ling Xiaoyu is a Chinese martial artist that appears in the Tekken series of games, with her debut being Tekken 3. Her grandfather is Wang Jinrei, another character from the series, as well as an influence on her fighting style. Her initial reasoning for entering the King of the Iron Fist Tournament was to get enough money to build her own amusement park. However, this later changes into trying to save the Mishima family. She has a rather cheerful personality and child-like innocence to her.
After her debut in Tekken 3, Ling Xiaoyu has appeared in every subsequent Tekken game. She also appeared as an unlockable character in Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2, as well as playable in Street Fighter X Tekken. In Project X Zone, she is paired with Jin Kazama.
