Hector is the third Lord in normal gameplay in Fire Emblem. He is the heir to the throne of Ostia, the strongest territory in the Lycian Alliance. Hector appears again in Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi briefly, dying during Bern's invasion of Ostia. He has an older brother, Lord Uther, and a daugher, Lilina.
Hector is rough and uncouth compared to his kind and polite friend Eliwood, and is disliked around court for his bluntness. He jumps at the chance to help his friend find his father, and quickly becomes a spanner, one variable uncounted in the plans of Nergal. He inherits the thunder axe Armads from the ancient berserker Durbans, accepting with it his fate to die on the battlefield. This prophecy comes to fruition in Fuin no Tsurugi, where he his killed by several of Bern's dragons during the invasion of Lycia. His signature weapon is the Wolf Biel, his powerful starting axe.
