Garnier de Naplouse was a character in Ubisoft's action-adventure Assassin Creed, a doctor, Grand Master of the Knights Hospitalier in Acre, and part of the Templar Order. Garnier was exiled from France for the cruel and inhumane treatment of patients, who he saw less as people, and more as experiments on whom to try the latest cures. He then moved to Acre, where he continued his cruel experiments at the Hospitalier Fortress until Altair infiltrated and assassinated Garnier.
