He is an otter and was an insurance agent in Animal Crossing: Wild World, where he tried to sell you insurance. He got a new job in Animal Crossing: City Folk, where he worked in the Happy Room Academy. This job entails Lyle inspecting your house and giving it a score based on the layout and quality of furniture inside. He reprises this role in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
