Super Hero Aurum is the a revered human hero and now main antagonist of Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. 200 years prior to the game, Aurum came upon an angry Mao, who in a fit of rage against his father, told Aurum all of his weaknesses. Despite killing the Overlord, he was unsatisified with the lack of challenge. Traumatized by his actions against his father, Mao attacked Aurum, giving him the idea that if he couldn't find a worthy opponent, why not create one?
In the Raspberyl DLC, Aurum becomes a playable character.
