Kinkaku is one of Kumogakure's infamous Gold and Silver Brothers alongside his brother Ginkaku in Naruto. Notorious criminals, they were assigned to capture the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, but were swallowed whole instead. Surviving for two weeks inside the beast's stomach, the two fought until they were regurgitated.
Both brothers are considered to be a disgrace to Kumogakure, due to their underhanded natures. They use deceit and betrayal indiscriminately in battle and will even attack their own comrades. Despite all this, Kinkaku is proud and seems to care deeply for his brother.
Kinkaku is to appear as a playable character in the upcoming Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.
