Kapp'n is a character from the Animal Crossing series of games.
He appears in a majority of the games, usually driving some form of transportation. In Animal Crossing and New Leaf, he transports the player to the island. He is seen driving a black taxi in Animal Crossing: Wild World and a bus in Animal Crossing: City Folk. In the Japanese version of the game, he is a kappa, a water sprite in Japanese mythology, while he is a turtle in all other regions.
