Lucy the Axe is the faithful companion and friend of Woodie. She can be used in any way that a normal Axe can be used but she is indestructible and can talk. Aside from her normal Axe functions, she can also talk to help Woodie keep track of how close he is to transforming into his Were-Beaver form. She will also show up as a red axe on the world map in case you lose her.

How Lucy came to be, who she is, why she is with Woodie and if she is possibly responsible for his Curse are unknown however it should be noted that cutting down trees with ANY Axe can cause the transformation (though Lucy will still warn you).
