You can lane pretty much anywhere but will need some decent farm. You are a semi-carry/carry that is a very capable ganker and nuker.
Skills
Get one point in your first skill, Searing Chains, to lock down enemies in case of ganks.
After that, max Flame Guard (it absorbs a lot of magic damage and also provides strong AoE damage in the early game).
Max Sleight of Fist second (it’s the skill that allows you to become a potent carry later on) and Searing Chains last.
Always get your ultimate – Fire Remnant – it gives you high mobility to initiate, escape ganks, or even be used as a free teleport.
Items
Optimal item build is: Phase Boots, Battle Fury, Daedalus.
If you have a rough start consider: Phase Boots, Drums of Endurance, Vladmir’s Offering.
Other good pick ups include: Black King Bar, Desolator, Assault Cuirass, Monkey King Bar, Divine Rapier.
