Muggshot was one of the group that attacked Sly Cooper's home, which ended up killing his father and stealing the Thievius Raccoonus. The Fiendish Five split up the Thievius Raccoonus, with Muggshot receiving the parts about Tennessee "Kid" Cooper. He set up in the western area of the United States, driving out the residents of Mesa City, and building a big casino and a penthouse shaped like a fire hydrant.
Sly eventually made his way to Mesa City and confronted Muggshot. Since Sly couldn't directly damage Muggshot himself, he had to use mirrors to redirect sunlight at Muggshot. Sly defeated Muggshot, who revealed that the next Thievius Raccoonus section was in Haiti with Mz. Ruby. He was arrested by Carmelita Fox, but escaped.
