Yi Suchong Ph.D.is a character from the original BioShock.
He was a leading medical researcher in Rapture and was instrumental in the study of ADAM, the development of Plasmids, and the creation the Little Sisters and Big Daddies, taking over Fontaine's work for Ryan upon his death.
Yi Suchong was ultimately killed by one of his own creations - a Big Daddy murdered him when he struck out at a Little Sister in frustration and triggered the protection mechanism that is at the core of the Big Daddie/Little Sister relationship.
