Ken Masters, usually known as just Ken, is a character from the Street Fighter series of games, with his first appearance being in the original Street Fighter. He is the friend and rival of Ryu, who he trained with under the same master, Gouken. When Ken was young, he was sent by his father, who was a rich hotel tycoon, to train under Gouken so he could learn discipline and wouldn't become a spoiled brat.
Ken tends to be flashy and unorthodox in his fighting style, which is the complete opposite of Ryu. He also has a huge ego, but he has been shown to have a very kind heart. He is one to not back down from a fight, and he also believes in discipline and hard work. He cares deeply about his family, even going as far as not entering the tournment in Street Fighter IV because his wife, Eliza Masters, was close to have their baby.
