Curly Brace is the female protagonist of Cave Story and Cave Story 3D. Like her companion Quote, she is an "armed scout robot" built to resemble a human. After awakening from an unknown period of time with complete amnesia, she stumbled upon four orphaned Mimigas called the Colons. Taking the Mimigas in as her own, she lived peacefully until the Doctor's minions kidnaped the Mimigas.
