Barricade was a Decepticon who worked for Starscream during Megatron's absence, despite his mutinous feelings. He also believed that Starscream was vital in their search for Megatron and the All Spark, willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Liking to hide within plain sight, Barricade chose to disguise himself as a police car to trick people into trusting his authority.
