Ironhide is the Autobot's Weapon Specialist and Optimus Prime's oldest friend in the Transformers franchise. A tough soldier, Ironhide has sustained many injuries, such as a large scar around his right eye and a broken ankle. He is one of the oldest and powerful Autobots, behind Optimus Prime, Sentinel Prime and Jetfire.
