Optimus Prime is a character from the Transformers franchise and leader of the Autobots, a faction of transforming robots from the planet Cybertron. The Autobots are constantly at war with the Decepticons, a rival faction from Cybertron, lead by Megatron.
Optimus is often depicted as powerful, brave, and wise. He is a compassionate leader, who has a strong sense of justice and righteousness and has dedicated his team to the protection of all life, particularly the inhabitants of Earth.
