Hound was the Autobots technical specialist in the Transformers franchise. He was good friends with Trailbreaker, despite his attitude and refusal to take anything seriously getting on Hound's nerves.
In Transformers: The Game, Hound accompanied Optimus Prime to Earth when Bumblebee alerted them of the All Spark's presence on the planet. Once the Autobots learned from Sam Witwicky that the Decepticon leader, Megatron, is also on Earth, Prime dispatched Hound and Trailbreaker to investigate the Arctic cavern where Megatron's body was originally uncovered.
