Ulala is a character and main protagonist in the Space Channel 5 series of games. She is a reporter for Space Channel 5 and a celebrity in the galaxy. As well as being an excellent dancer, she is able to play a variety of musical instruments, including the guitar, keyboard and drums. She was born on Earth and was the sole survivor of a spaceship accident, eventually becoming a reporter.
Besides the Space Channel 5 games, she also appears in a plethora of other Sega games, including Sonic Riders, the Sega Superstars games, and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing and Transformed, as well as a cameo in Samba De Amigo. She also appears as a Solo Unit in the crossover game, Project X Zone.
