Frictional Games is an indie developer based in Sweden. Founded in 2006, the company's debut title was horror title Penumbra: Overture, which was critically well received and was an indicator of things to come.
Frictional Games truly came to prominence with the release of horror title Amnesia: The Dark Descent in 2010, which was both critically and commercially very successful. A follow-up came in 2013. In 2015 the company is set to release yet another horror title, Soma.
