When racing the triceratops 1st round there is two shortcuts when climbing up the mountain the shortcuts are hidden behind rocks and tall grass behind the grass theres a boost to boost you to the other side of the mountain pathway These shortcuts are extremley useful if you fall behind

In 4 of the 5 worlds there is a TT Challenge that can be unlocked by finding a key on a course in that world Beating these Challenges will earn you pieces of the TT Amulet Once unlocked you can also play these in quotTracksquot Mode

Boulder Canyon Bell
You will see a bell in Boulder Canyon while racing in your hovercraft Press R button and jump to hit it If done correctly a bell should start ringing If you timed it correctly some of the other players will be stuck in the water for a short amount of time and allow you to take the lead This is especially useful when you are ahead of TT in Time Trials mode
Crescent Island Shortcut
Although this trick only works with a hovercraft it is highly effective In regular adventure mode go the front of the ship but do not board the ship Instead turn left into the water and go around the ship You will eventually arrive at the exit of the ship This is much easier than going in the ship In adventure 2 mode turn right and go around
Darkwater Beach Ammunition
When you start go to the is land which is a little bit away from the mainland There will be a balloon on the island and one on the land Keep going back and forth to get the ammunition One balloon is a shot Two balloons is an accurate shot Three balloon is ten shots
Dino Domain Shortcut
When about half way up the hill not the flat beginning but the tightly turning hill you should see a pillar about the second or third one that has bushes on the right after it Go through the bushes and you should enter a cave through the mountain Get the blue balloon to use until you hit the zipper If you are close enough to the Boss when you enter the cave you should get in front of him or close enough to him that you can pass him at the finish line
Greenwood Village Shortcut
There is a well in Greenwood Village just before you exit the village enter the tunnels Slow down and run into the well You will fall in and get a big shortcut with a zipper about halfway through
Haunted Woods Shortcut
After the announcer says quotGoquot you will see a fountain Go across with the hovercraft to take the lead and get in into first place Note This can be done in tracks mode
Controlling TT
When your are turning with TT hold A but lightly press the B You may have to press B a few times before he turns well Do not hold B TT should turn very well making him the ultimate racer in the game In hover hold R for good turning
