Hyperdimension Neptunia is a 2010 Japanese role-playing game co-developed by Compile Heart and Idea Factory for release on the Playstation 3. It is the first installment in the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise.
The game take place in Gamindustri during the seventh generation "console war", where four Goddesses, each a personification of a console, resides over their own land. After the Goddess of Planeptune goes missing, a girl named Neptune awakes with no memory of who she is or where she came from.
