The game follows the movie in many respects but is not a mirror of the movie. The virtual characters in the movie, who are human in reality, do not exist in the game. The enemy or NDA are ever present and must be dealt with to obtain your goal. The goal of each mission is different and along the way you may collect Spirits that can be used to upgrade your Staff, Bow, Arrows and your abilities. Some of the Spirits are in locations that can only accessed using the Wasp. To do this you must use the Wii Plus controller, a standard controller will not control the Wasp. The other items that may be collected are Totems and Relics.
The game was designed around the Wii system with some unusual attributes. The Wii balance board can be used to fly the Banshee, the Wii Plus can be used to control the Wasp and at any time during the game another player can drop into the game by simply turning on another controller. What is fantastic about the second player option is that the two players are on the same screen, not a split screen as with most games. This gives the game more depth and realism.
To progress through the game you must complete the current quest. Once completed you may return to that quest and replay the quest to your hearts content. There are 13 quests with a few side quests giving the player many hours of pleasure. So invite a friend over and enjoy the game.
