Aqua Scenario Both Vanitas Fights
First Battle
Vanitas first challenges Aqua in the Radiant Garden with his goal being to test her as a backup for his plan to fuse with a heart of light to form the blade While his attacks are the same as in the early battles of Ventus039s scenario keep in mind that Aqua favors magic whereas Ventus is balanced which calls for a change in strategy Aqua has access to DLinks Command Styles and Shotlocks in this battle and they should be used if possible to gain the upper hand in battle
The player should go on the offensive while also following a hitandrun strategy using magical attacks as their primary source of dealing damage Vanitas may disappear during the battle but the player should immediately Wheel Roll or fall victim to his downward strike if they do not dodge the assault The boss may also shoot a single large fireball at the player that will soon separate into three smaller homing fireballs after traveling forward in the player039s direction Wheel Roll again can be used to avoid this attack If Vanitas leaps into the air he may strike the player with a dark lightning attack which has a relatively long range Wheel Roll is recommended in terms of avoiding it The boss lastly may perform a simple twohit physical combo an attack easily dodged with Wheel Roll In terms of offensive tactics for the player DetonaSquare and Tornado are highly recommended for use as they will deal great damage to the boss also interrupting his attacks The Sleepel magic command works great as it inflicts sleep status leaving Vanitas at Aqua039s mercy Whatever physical attacks the player attempts should be the most powerful in Aqua039s arsenal Continuation to use powerful physical and magic attacks is the key to ending the battle with ease and minimal damage
Second Battle
Vanitas next challenges Aqua in Neverland his goal to destroy her after his first battle with Ventus seeing his strength and no longer needing a quotPlan Bquot While his attacks are the same as in the first battle at the Radiant Garden keep in mind that Aqua favors magic whereas Ventus is balanced hence the need for a difference in strategy Aqua has access to DLinks Command Styles and Shotlocks in this battle and they should be used if possible to gain the upper hand in battle

Aqua Scenario Braig Boss
As he has given into the darkness Braig039s powers have multiplied since his battle with Terra As he has access to new attacks and Aqua039s battle style is different than Terra039s a different strategy must be followed As with Braig039s battle with Terra Aqua has access to Shotlocks Command Styles and DLinks However the boss039s constant warping will make it challenging to fully benefit from these special powers and abilities
At the start of the battle Braig will go immediately on the offense he will warp to Aqua039s location charging at her while firing energy bullets This can be avoided with Cartwheel or Barrier It is also recommended that the player use the Mine Square ability on the slight chance that Braig will collide with the mines taking damage as a result The player should then continue with a hitandrun strategy bombarding Braig with physical attacks or preferably magic As Braig goes on to fire bullets from the air or ground either Cartwheel or Barrier can be used to avoid damage A Barrier and Counter Blast combo can also be used when Braig runs around Aqua firing while running at a fast pace As he is at close range this is the best way to prevent damage and still strike the boss As in the battle with Terra Braig will charge the power of his Arrowguns before firing a massive energy bolt Cartwheel out of the way to prevent damage and try to strike him with magic or physical combos before he fires to cancel the attack
As Braig039s HP starts to dwindle he begins to take things seriously Warping to the center of the battlefield he will fire a series of bolts with a long range while spinning around in place in circle Careful use of Cartwheel is the only recommended way to prevent taking damage When Braig leaps into the air at the battlefield039s center twirling his Arrowguns overhead immediately chain together Wheel Rolls or fall victim to several large bullets of energy as they rain from portals of space Braig summons One can also simply run along the very edge of the battle area but be advised that these bullets have slight homing capabilities and have a relatively long range
As in the battle with Terra Braig should not be a challenge Patience is the key to beating him as always The player lastly must make full use of the Wheel Roll and Reflect abilities as well as the Barrier and Counter Blast combo Mine Square is also useful if Braig warps to Aqua039s location before or after executing an attack Heal160

Aqua Scenario Gantu Boss
At the start of the battle either be prepared to Guard or Wheel Roll out of the way to avoid his laser blasts Gantu will either use one of two laser based attacks The first one is where he takes aimed shots at the player If one hits Aqua the rest will hit her as well building up damage His other attack is a rapidfire laser attack If you are hit by many of these blasts it will do a lot of damage His laser shots can be reflected back at him using Guard which can do quite a bit of damage on Gantu Another safety precaution would be to stand directly underneath Gantu as his large size makes it hard to shoot smaller targets underneath him Gantu also has melee attacks that he uses when Aqua gets close to him The first one is where he tries to swat at the player with his hand To avoid this attack look carefully at his right arm and when he moves it to the left side of his body move out of the way Players should also be extra careful for his second melee move a charging attack This attack can do massive damage to Aqua if she is hit A good way to avoid Gantu039s charge is to watch the warning signs beforehand When he pulls both of his arms back be prepared to dodge Also DetonaSquare is useful when he charges as he will most likely step on the mines taking massive damage If you heal often then this won039t be a huge problem The player can use the Reaction Command quotAstro Shotquot to have Stitch roll into a ball Aqua will then throw Stitch at Gantu039s face Stitch will be latched on to Gantu039s face temporarily distracting him for about 6 seconds This gives you time to heal or attack Gantu He will eventually grab Stitch and throw him off his face and resume attacking Aqua To do quotAstro Shotquot you must be near Stitch and press the circle button at the right time If the player can memorize the patterns run and heal when it039s the safest Wheel Roll to safety and take advantage of the Reaction Command then the battle shouldn039t be hard at all
Aqua Scenario Hades fight Also appears in Mirage Area
Hades appears as a boss along with Ice Colossus in Aqua039s story and he is also a boss in the Mirage Arena alongside Zack The fight with Hades seems easier than in the original Kingdom Hearts Hades attacks have not changed from previous games he retains most of the moveset from Kingdom Hearts but they can be avoided easier due to the abundant space in the arena First take out the Colossus as its ice shards can be lethal to Aqua039s HP then attack Hades while dodging or guarding his fire attacks With the proper Command Style Shotlock or Dimension Link both Hades and the Colossus should fall easily
Aqua Scenario Maleficent Dragon Boss
When Aqua fights against Maleficent039s dragon form she039ll have Prince Phillip as an ally as well as access to DLinks Shotlocks and Command Styles It is important to realize that Aqua does not excel in physical attack but she prefers to use magic to conquer foes One should also take notice of the dragon039s only weak point being its head and the fact that it only attacks the area directly in front of it Thus the player should use this to his or her advantage So long as a hitandrun strategy is used minimal damage will be received
At the start of the battle the player should immediately Wheel Roll over to the dragon039s side occasionally bombarding her with Thunder Blizzard and Fire magic This will eventually activate the Spell Weaver Command Style but Aqua will not have a need for its benefits If the player finds that Aqua is too far away from the dragon the gap can be closed with Reflect Blitz or a similar attack The Dragon may perform a biting combo but this can be easily avoided with Wheel Roll If one finds themselves in the dragon039s attack range use DetonaSquare and immediately Wheel Roll away As the dragon will occasionally rear back and land to create twin shortrange shockwaves she will take heavy damage as she lands on the mines while Aqua avoids taking damage completely
Occasionally during the battle the dragon will breathe her signature green fire the fact that the player should be standing near Prince Phillip when he calls out to Aqua extremely important Once the flames begin to spawn on the ground Phillip will throw Aqua over the flames to attack the dragon once the player activates the command by pressing Square and then Circle when the onscreen prompts appear The player should then resume the hitandrun strategy only bombarding the dragon with magic attacks physical attacks only when it is safe to do so As her HP dwindles the dragon will launch off the battlefield and begin to fly around the area Pressing Square and Circle again will allow Phillip to throw Aqua to the dragon039s level allowing a special attack to be landed Aqua has a strong chance of landing on the dragon039s back once this attack is completed and it is now that she can attack the beast with physical attacks such as the powerful Spell Weaver if it is still activated Magic can also be used to end the battle quickly The Dragon is not difficult to beat If the player follows a hitandrun strategy and sticks to magic attacks160

Aqua Scenario VentusVanitas Fight
As Ventus proceeds to battle Vanitas inside their Awakening in his heart in the physical realm Aqua having been ambushed by Vanitas after her battle with Braig but having also been rescued by King Mickey finds Ventus039s body under the possession of Vanitas and is forced to fight him in order to stop Vanitas from opening Kingdom Hearts with the completed XBlade and free Ventus King Mickey will assist Aqua in this battle and she also has access to Shotlocks Command Styles and DLinks
VentusVanitas will immediately go on the offensive and it is best that the player keep at a constant hitandrun strategy to escape him It is also important to remember the fact that while Aqua is very agile her physical attack techniques aren039t very powerful and therefore her superior magic abilities must be relied on For this reason Mine Square can be used to interrupt the boss039s attacks and deal great damage Other spells will deal great damage as well It is also important that Aqua utilize Mickey039s presence to her advantage as not only are his attacks powerful and his HP in no need of restoration but he grants her the use of the Burst of Faith ability This attack makes Aqua immune to damage during its execution having a long range as well
The boss may occasionally sink into the ground visible only by a pool of darkness This pool will go to the player039s location and Cartwheel must be used to escape the rain of fireballs that VentusVanitas summons as he strikes from below Note that he can perform this attack multiple times He may also attempt a physical combo one that can be guarded against with Barrier and used to the player039s advantage by opening a window for the boss to receive damage with Counter Blast If the boss vanishes immediately Cartwheel away before he hits Aqua with a downward slam with an added Blizzard effect While VentusVanitas has access to several other devastating physical desperation attacks such as chaining physical combos with bursts of energy and a Sonic Bladelike attack his most devastating by far causes him to warp to the center of the battlefield charging power He will then leap into the air slamming back down in an immense burst of light There is no way to dodge this attack at close range so immediately activate an ability that prevents damage such as the combo finisher of the Blade Charge Command Style or the Burst of Faith Deck Command Failure to do so may spell certain death depending on160

Aqua Scenario Zck Fair Boss
Zack challenges Aqua to a friendly battle now free of Hades039s control If one has all ready beaten Terra039s scenario then the player will recognize many of Zack039s attacks and know how to avoid them However Aqua favors magic over brute force so this needs to be taken into account when calculating the best strategy Aqua lastly has access to Shotlocks Command Styles and DLinks These abilities should be used to the fullest extent
Zack will begin the battle by launching a jumping downward thrust attack Wheel Roll can be used to avoid it The player keeping at a hitandrun strategy they should bombard Zack inbetween his attacks with Triple Blizzaga Aero or Fire DetonaSquare can also be used to trip Zack thus opening him to damage if he is in close range Careful positioning of Aqua may even cause Zack to land on the mines after executing his jumping thrust attack Through the use of Aqua039s many magic attacks the Command Style Spell Weaver will eventually activate Closing gaps between Aqua and Zack with Thunder Blitz or another magicalBlitz attack the player should then begin to hit Zack with the more powerful physical attacks granted by the Command Style Filling the Command Gauge even further may possibly upgrade the Command Style activated to an even stronger one such as Blade Charge If Blade Charge is indeed activated physical attacks should be favored until the combo finisher appears So long as special attacks are used to the fullest potential one heals if necessary and one keeps at a hitandrun strategy while remembering Aqua039s preference to magic then Zack should fall in due time
Beating Mysterious Figure
The Mysterious Figure is a powerful boss and one of the more powerful enemies in the game Its attacks are varied and hard to predict similar to those of the Lingering Sentiment Not only is it immune to all status effects but it has a great deal of HP as well The boss is very swift each of its attacks leaving the player little chance of surviving them with more than one HP The Mysterious Figure will attack whenever an opening to do so presents itself but the player has a chance of safely casting Curaga while Terra Ventus or Aqua attempts to recover from its attacks While one might think the key to victory is the most powerful Deck Commands possible it is actually the swifter less powerful abilities that are better suited for this opponent The player039s best bet for survival and possibly victory would be the Shotlock Each time the player executes a Shotlock a temporary invulnerability will be gained Also Dodge Roll Ventus only is another option to dodge boss039s attacks These methods may allow the player to prevent taking damage from the boss039s overpowered techniques Due to the heavy reliance on these special abilities this battle calls for however the player should stock up on Elixirs and other items to refill the Focus Gauge before entering the battle It is also best that the player use the strongest Keyblade available
The Mysterious Figure has a variety of attacks all of which can kill the player instantly if unprepared It mainly attacks by battering the player with its swords and can replicate itself to attack players from all sides Another attack involves it shooting an Xshaped blast of energy at the player similar to Vanitas and Vanitas039s Lingering Spirit The Mysterious Figure has an attack similar to Sonic Rave in which it quickly darts around hitting the player and hoisting him or her high into the air Its other attack is to shoot a tornado at the player which if hit will blow away the player039s deck commands similar to Marluxia039s Whirlwind to the Void Sleight The Mysterious Figure can use Mega Flare wherein it shoots a large fireball which explodes on contact with the player it can also conjure many blue orbs that shoot lasers The Mysterious Figure has an attack similar to Magnet Crash where it leaps into the air and pulls players up with and energy whip to damage them It can charge at players while surrounded with fiery pillars The Mysterious Figure can also cast a spell that rewinds a time a few160

all u have to do is go on the side of the dragon and spam fire and when the dragon flys run like crazy then go bak to the bak prince Philip wont do much though he will only attack a bit and take damage

first equip all your commands as strike raid or any related raid then go vs vanitas sentiment AFTER you dodge his combo of attacks go behind a rock vanitas will be on the other side shortly now u can kill him its rly easy because u just spam strike raid or any related raids BUT u have to lock on so your keyblade goes through the rock D
Easy Leveling for everyone
Completed Final Chapter but stuck against Mysterious Figure Or even against Vanitas Sentiment Well do not fear There is a easy way to train
First Make sure you have The abilities EXP chance and EXP walker
EXP chance boosts your EXP by x2 when your health is under 25
EXP walker gives you on EXP for every step you take
Now make a command Deck of 4 Mega Flares
Mega Flare can be made by melding 1 Fission Firaga and 1 Crawling Fire Get 4 of these and meld them together once their max level Now you have Flares Go to the command deck option and click Choose Deck Now choose Deck 3 so your current deck will remain where it is for after you have leveled Add all your abilities again and a decent shootlock not that any of this is necessary and most important fill your 8 slots with Mega Flare Now go to Radiant Garden and go to the reactor First of all land in the save point near merlins house entitled quotCastle Townquot Now get your hp below 25 I recommend turning all HP039s off as it will make it a lot easier Now once your HP is below 25 I normally have once moreSecond chance on so I keep 1 HP if anything does go wrong Go to the reactor Through the Fountain Path and through the Adequet to get to the reactor Now run into the center and run out again You should see a bunch of unversed Now use 1 Mega Flare Now use the other one to take town the 2nd wave of enemies NOTE mega flare takes out 13 waves of enemies One defeated and you have your HP under 25 and EXP chance on you should get at least 4000EXP Now run out and repeat the process In 5 minutes you should have 70K EXP

You will only need the abilities EXP walker EXP chance and once more on the rest of the abilities are not needed
I got my Ventus from level 32 level 90 in 6 hours
Do not collect the health items after the enemies are defeated simply leave the area and reenter to reset the enemies

Final Chapter
Acquire every Xehanort report as each character then complete all three story modes to unlock the Final Chapter
Gaining abilities
Abilities such as Last chance Combo Boost and HP Boost can be obtained through Command Fusion You must combine two commands and add a item which will give the command an ability to learn For example if you combine Cura and Cura and also add a Rise Crystal the result will be a Curaga command with the ability quotAir Combo Boostquot Once you master this Curaga command the ability quotAir Combo Boostquot will still be available even if you unequip the command

Leveling Commands with Terra
A good place to level commands is Peter Pan039s World Follow these steps to get your commands from 1 to master
1Start in the cove and head over to cliff path right next the safe spot Put on the commands that need leveling before you start fighting
2Start fighting and and make your way to mermaid lagoon There you039ll see more unversed to fight but don039t fall to the water
3After you039re done go back to cliff path and defeat more unversed there
4Continue to the cove to save the game if you need and to change the commands you already mastered
Doing these steps you039ll be leveling up commands shot locks finish commands and even your own level You get about 1477 XP every time you start from cove and get back not including having the EXP Walker and EXP Chance ability on
Magic Mirror Boss
The Magic Mirror is a fairly easy boss It039s primary move is to create reflections of itself after sinking into the reflective surface and rise with Magic Mirror copies in either a path or circle formation which shoot fireballs from their mouths However the real Magic Mirror can easily be spotted being the only mask that has a smile on it039s face Once the smiling Magic Mirror is attacked the fake ones will vanish The Magic Mirror can also maneuver as an attack which is followed by framebyframe reflections of it039s last few positions It can also charge straight at you an attack that can easily be dodged by moving to the left or right Sometimes the Magic Mirror will float over you and shoot fireballs from above When playing as Aqua beware of the occasional white fireball the boss shoots as it can confuse Aqua mixing up her movements

To level Dlinks you must first use it and kill enemies until a starshaped item is dropped Two of these are required to completely master a Dlink

Quick level up for Aqua and Ventus
ok for this to work you have to have mastered a dlink with Mickey once you do that got to never land run through the map and stop at sea coast once you enter use Mickeys dlink and start attacking enemies you get triple the experience for each enemy you kill also if you dlink is low go to one of the surrounding areas kill some people and the dlink gauge will fill up really fast
Secret Boss Keyblade
There is a secret optional boss named Vanitas Sentiment He has 1 bar of HP but he is extemely tough If you beat him you will get his keyblade
NOTE This is an exclusive Keyblade that can be only be recieved in the english version not the japanese

Terra Scenario Playing as Lingering Spirit TerraXehanort
For the final boss fight of Terra039s scenario the player takes control of the Lingering Sentiment in order to battle TerraXehanort It will have access to any abilities Terra had equipped before the battle such as its Keyblade preset to the Ends of the Earth No DLinks can be used during this battle but Command Styles and Shotlocks are still available
In early stages of the battle TerraXehanort will immediately go on the offense usually dashing around the battlefield surrounded in darkness The player039s best defense against this tactic is to use Guard and immediately follow with a Counter Hammer This will do great amounts of damage to TerraXehanort causing him to warp away When the boss reappears he may attempt a fastpaced physical attack similar to Terra039s Ars Solum ability This can be Guarded against opening the boss to damage from Counter Hammer He may also utilize the Shotlock Dark Volley but the dark projectiles he fires can be deflected back at him to deal damage with Guard Should one attempt a physical attack of their own against TerraXehanort be advised that the best place to strike is from behind This is mainly because TerraXehanort also has access to the Guard and Counter Hammer combo
As TerraXehanort039s HP starts to dwindle his true power is unleashed He may use a variation of the Meteor spell causing several large rocks to erupt from the ground and bombard the player While this attack can potentially deal heavy damage it can be defended against with a welltimed Guard TerraXehanort may also cause large pillars of rock to shoot out from the ground around him usually when the player is at close range He will continue to use the Darknessbased attacks from earlier stages of the battle which can be defended against in the same ways mentioned above TerraXehanort may also use the Dark Impulse Command Style which involves him landing several hits with his Keyblade and then striking the player with an immense hand of dark energy which can break through Guard so dodging is advisable TerraXehanort will then vanish into the ground visible only as a pool of darkness on the ground This pool will travel underneath the player during which time the boss will attempt another dark hand attack This attack requires precise timing to dodge the player needing to wait for the pool of darkness to travel beneath them and then using the Slide ability which can also be used to avoid many of TerraXehanort039s160

Terra Scenario Braig Boss
At the start of the battle Braig will warp to a high platform that is out of attack range He will then proceed to fire energy bullets at Terra from afar in a style similar to a sniper The player has two options at this point One way to handle this attack is to chain Slide abilities together until the boss ceases fire Another is to stand in the line of fire and use Guard This will then deflect the bullets back at Braig damaging him and decreasing the time he stays on the platform
Once Braig warps back to Terra039s location the battle will become much more challenging He will fire a series of bullets at Terra and each shot can be deflected with Guard dealing damage Braig may also start to charge power becoming immobile While this will open him up to damage for a period of time the player must use caution as once he039s charged long enough a massive energy bolt will be fired In order to prevent taking damage from this attack the player should immediately Slide out of the way Note that if Braig is attacked enough times while he039s charging up power the attack is cancelled Braig will then continue to alternate between firing shots from both the ground and air Guard again a good way to damage the boss while preventing the loss of Terra039s HP Occasionally he will fire bullets while running at an incredibly high speed The player should then use Guard to prevent damage Once enough of Braig039s HP has been depleted he will warp back to the platform The same strategy should be used to avoid his attacks Sliding or Guarding He will do this several times over the course of the battle
Braig should not be that much of a challenge to defeat He is immune to both physical attacks and magic So long as the player makes full use of the Slide and possibly Guard abilities depleting his HP and finishing the battle with minimal damage is quite doable Should the player wish to attack they can do so before Braig fires or when he is charging his Arrowguns039 power Magic is also most wisely used at this time While Terra has access to Shotlocks Command Styles and DLinks Braig039s constant warping makes it hard to make full use of the special abilities granted by them Patience is the key in this battle
Terra Scenario Experiment 221 Boss
Immediately LockOn to Experiment 221 as soon as the battle begins The boss will dash around the battlefield at a moderate speed and while the player039s first instinct to is to chase after 221 this is not advised as the extraterrestrial will proceed to charge at Terra at a high speed dealing Lightning damage if its attack connects Either keep ahead of the Experiment or Quick Run to avoid this attack Land a quick aerial combo and immediately back away Once 221 lands it will surround itself with a damaging field of electricity Run away until the attack stops and immediately attempt another combo As 221039s HP diminishes its electric attack increases in range but it can still be avoided by Quick Run or a simple run
When the player should begin to worry is when Experiment 221 enters the blasters hanging from the ceiling It will cause the guns to fire quickly depleting Terra039s HP Land aerial combos to deplete the guns039 HP and 221 will be released It should be noted that until this time the blasters will follow Terra with their fire and it is recommended that Quick Run be used to avoid damage It should also be noted that if the player prolongs the battle long enough 221 will leave the blasters itself causing them to grow immobile once again At this point the boss will then shoot balls of electricity in all corners of the battlefield These can be avoided by staying close to the Experiment 221 will then enter the blasters again repeating its attack process When it summons balls of electricity from the air they will detonate as soon as they hit the ground having a long range Quick Run can again be relied on here So long as the player heals regularly there should be no problems conquering Experiment 221
Terra Scenario Master Xehanort Boss Both Fights
First Battle includes Vanitas
Terra will fight both Master Xehanort and Vanitas twoonone Vanitas should be the primary target as Xehanort will mostly dodge and keep a distance from Terra In combat Xehanort will periodically teleport in front of Terra and perform quick combos before launching an ice spell that can freeze him Xehanort isn039t very difficult for after sustaining minor damage the battle will end
Second Battle
The second battle is the true battle against Master Xehanort Like the previous battle Xehanort will keep a distance but will launch wideranged magic spells Master Xehanort utilizes the quick combo and ice spell from the previous battle but can now also fire the ice spell without the combo in addition with a powerful overhead thunder spell Master Xehanort can cast a powerful earth spell causing a huge piece of land to rise under Terra lifting him upward and damaging him All of his attacks including magicbased ones can be dodged with the right timing but the real danger comes from his summoning a number of keyblades in a flowing spiral and his teleport combo The former while relatively easy to avoid will deal massive damage if hit by it The latter attack however is more difficult to predict when the player attacks Xehanort he can simply teleport away and attack with magic After landing a successful combo Master Xehanort will hold Terra onto the ground by the shoulder at which point X must be pressed repeatedly in order to be freed On rare occasions he will teleport directly behind the player and continually attack with warping keyblade combos The fight can be made much easier with the use of Cure commands and Shotlocks
Terra Scenario Zack Fair Boss both
First Battle
Victorious in the games Terra has been tricked by Hades into fighting Zack He will have access to Command Styles DLinks and Shotlocks however proper execution of these abilities will extremely decrease the difficulty of the battle
At the beginning of the battle Terra and the helmeted Zack will stand some distance from one another both having the option of closing the gap with a long ranged attack Zack will most likely be first to close the gap attempting to damage Terra with a jumping downward thrust Slide can be used to avoid the attack however attacks such as Thunder Blitz allowing the player to damage the boss while closing any gaps that form between him and Terra Keeping in close range will decrease Zack039s chances of using the jumping attack If one remains far away from the boss however he will attempt to bombard Terra with a longrange dark fireball Careful timing of Slide can be used to avoid it
In terms of damaging Zack it is best to keep Terra039s excellence in physical strength in mind It is also best to keep Zack off his feet Thus attacks such as Final Break are recommended One can also use longranged physical and magical attacks such as Fire the combination of magic and physical attacks having a strong chance of activating the Critical Impact Command Style The powerful physical attacks granted by Critical Impact can easily deplete Zack039s HP so long as one is careful enough to Slide out of the way of his attacks to prevent taking damage
Zack should be overall a very easy opponent to beat So long as one remembers Terra039s preference of brute strength uses all benefits of DLinks Shotlocks and Command Styles and heals if needed Zack should fall in due time
Zack now under Hades039s control challenges Terra to a rematch As within the first battle Terra will have access to Command Styles DLinks and Shotlocks proper execution of these abilities extremely decreasing the difficulty of the battle
Second Battle
During the second battle against Zack it is best that the player keep as far away from him as possible and remain in constant motion A hitandrun strategy is recommended meaning attacks such as Thunder Blitz and Fire should be favored Zack will begin the battle by using several rapid slashes chains of Slides needed to be used in order to avoid the vicious combo as being caught in the attack will spell instant death or at least leave Terra039s HP very low in the Alarm160

Terra039s scenario Vanitas Boss
Terra039s scenario
The only time Vanitas ever faces Terra in combat is during the final battle with Master Xehanort during which Vanitas assists Master Xehanort in a battle against the young Keyblade wielder During this battle Terra has access to DLinks Shotlocks and Command Styles While clearing this boss fight without the use of these special powers and abilities is quite possible it is recommended that the player instead make full use of them
It is very important that the player immediately go on the offensive at the start of the battle as he now has two of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep039s strongest bosses facing him at one time the only instance in Terra039s scenario where this is done However though both Master Xehanort and Vanitas are present the battle will end once Vanitas is defeated Because of this the player should immediately target Vanitas the weaker of the two bosses hammering him with physical attacks and magic Vanitas will not attack often and will mainly attempt to dodge the player039s attacks but certain abilities such as Chaos Rave will allow the player to stay on him When Vanitas vanishes Slide out of the way if you do not you will fall victim to an downward strike from Vanitas with his Keyblade When Vanitas sinks into the ground only visible by a moving pool of darkness immediately chain Slides together Otherwise Terra will be bombarded with fireballs as the boss reemerges Vanitas may leap into the air bombarding the player with dark lightning or he even may shoot a single large fireball that later splits into three homing ones Slide can be used to dodge these attacks as well
Once enough HP has been depleted from Vanitas the battle will automatically end regardless of how much of it currently remains So long as the player makes full use of their Shotlocks Command Styles and DLinks healing with Curega or Sliding when necessary this battle should not be that hard to complete However the player should remember that Master Xehanort is also present during the battle and he may strike Terra with his Keyblade or shoot a longrange dark Blizzard spell in his direction Master Xehanort may also combine the two attacks assaulting Terra with a fastpaced physical combo and ending it with a Blizzard spell that can freeze Terra leaving him open to both Vanitas and Master Xehanort039s attacks So long as the strategy used against Vanitas is carried out throughout the battle as the player attempts160

Ventus Scenario Captain Hook Boss
Captain Hook appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep as a boss for Ventus He retains the same moveset as in Kingdom Hearts but the fight is easier as Hook cannot summon any helpers Hook039s attacks can be quite damaging so it is best to use the Guard or Dodge Roll ability Hook can guard attacks so it is best to attack from behind Hook also has an attack where he charges at Ventus while slashing wildly this can be avoided by gliding around the island Another attack consists of throwing bombs shaped like presents The battle takes place near water and the Crocodile is swimming around so the player has to be careful not to land in the water near the animal as the Crocodile can damage Ventus The player can also throw Captain Hook in the water where the crocodile damages him If he is hit with any firebased attacks or the Firestorm Command Style he will catch on fire leaving him open for a few hits
Ventus Scenario Lucifer Boss
Lucifer is Ven039s second boss and an easy opponent For most of the battle he attacks with his claws and sometimes jumps down from a higher part of the room creating a shockwave as he lands Note that after using both of these attacks he is left wide open Simply dodge his claws and body slams and attack With the right timing a series of Reaction Commands will begin where Ven rides Lucifer like a horse The player must enter various commands to hang on until Lucifer rams his head into a piece of furniture Then with the right timing attack Lucifer with another Reaction Command while he039s stunned dealing massive damage If you follow these techniques then Lucifer should fall quickly and with relative ease
Ventus Scenario Maleficent Boss
When Maleficent challenges Ventus he must cooperate with Flora Fauna and Merryweather They will have a special ability that could give the player the advantage in this battle Aside from the help of the fairies who otherwise just float around the battlefield Ventus can use DLinks Shotlocks and Command Styles
At the start of the battle Maleficent will warp from the high platform on which she stood during the preceding cutscene to Ventus039s location While the player can attack her once her staff begins to glow a pool of flames will begin to form around her The fairies039 help must be used to be rid of the flames the special command mentioned above causing Maleficent to fall asleep for a time thus opening her to damage when the player correctly presses Triangle Square Circle and X as the onscreen prompts appear Note that failure to do so will result in Ventus being stunned for six seconds leaving him open to Maleficent039s other attacks This may need to be done several times throughout the battle and it is while Maleficent is asleep that she can be bombarded with magic and physical attacks Tornado and Wind Raid recommended due to the fact that these abilities hit multiple times The use of aerobased attacks also has a high chance of allowing Ventus the use of the Fever Pitch Command Style It is while Fever Pitch is activated that the player should show Maleficent no mercy with the Keyblade but the player should take caution as the witch may knock Ventus away with her staff
After taking enough damage Maleficent may warp away to the side of the battlefield The player should immediately run to her location to continue attacking using Dodge Roll to avoid the dark lightning she summons from above The longer one takes to reach Maleficent the sooner she039ll warp away after reaching her Should one reach her he or she must be extremely careful of the lightning bolts Maleficent summons the witch causing them to hit the area several times Dodge Roll can be used to avoid them As Maleficent039s HP starts to dwindle she will begin traveling across the battlefield as a pinwheelshaped cloud of damaging dark energy Dodge Roll again can be used to avoid her As her HP dwindles further she will occasionally call her guards to attack Ventus but they are minor annoyances and can be defeated for muchneeded HP orbs Maleficent is not difficult to defeat and she can fall rather quickly if the proper strategies are followed Also160
