Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome Overview
Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome is a tactical role-playing game developed by Nippon Ichi Software for the PlayStation 2, with an enhanced port for the PlayStation Portable titled Makai Kingdom Portable.
The story follows self-proclaimed "Bad-ass Freakin' Overlord" Lord Zetta, who in an attempt to prevent the prophesied destruction of his netherworld finds and destroys the Sacred Tome, unwittingly fulfilling the prophecy. In order to save himself and his world, Zetta binds his soul to the Sacred Tome and ventures to rewrite his world into existence by having the other Overlords of Netherworlds write wishes within his pages.
