This mode features normal baseball rules, but with a twist. Each of the four players selests a single character rather than a full team. Every minigame is specially designed to the stadium the player(s) are playing at. For example, Bob-omb Derby is home to Mario Stadium.
Four difficulties are available (although only one is available for the start of all minigames):
- Mushroom
- Flower
- Star
- Special.
Mushroom is the easiest, Flower and Star are both clearly harder than Mushroom, but Special has a specific difference to it; players who play on Special sets records if they beat the standard high score of the minigame
