You need one Manova one Picket a strong sword in case any monsters attack a Wind Crystal and whatever you want to dupe There are a few steps you need to do in order to dupe the item
1 Enter the tower and call out your Manova and Picket then switch both their AIs to 1
2 Make the Manova transform into the Picket and set the item you want to dupe next to it
3 After transforming tell the Manova to steal the item
4 Open the menu select the items select the Manova and select return It will change back
5 Tell Manova to transform again and once transformed tell it to spit out the item Collect the item and then tell the Manova to return again
Repeat from step 2 until you run out of room or MP
