A secret Entrance into the cave
Collect all Chaos Emeralds and beat the last boss with the leader as Sonic Gemel will take the emeralds and transform and you will play as Super Sonic and Dr Robotnik to beat him
Easy height
Have Tails as your partner If you missed an elevated platform or area during a level use Tails Tag action on the ground About 95 of the time you will be able to reach what you fell off from Note This can also be done to access certain areas of the Act faster
Eggman as partner
After collecting all the Emeralds play the quotFinal Boss levelquot with Sonic as the leader and anyone else as your partner Once you change to Super Sonic Dr Eggman will become your partner in order to help you defeat the final Boss
Final ending
to unlock the final ending get all 7 chaos emeralds and beat the final boss

As Sonic and Knuckles go to the final stage and when you get to the Egg Man boss you have to jump and press up and A at the same time when he doesnt have anything guarding his head You may get hit one or two times and you will need to hit the boss 6 or 7 times before he is defeated
Key for special stage
colect all chao in a zone and then a key will appear somewhere in one of the acts of that zone when you get the key you can get to the special stage of that zone for a chaos emeraldthe key wont work in zones other than the one you got the key inwhen you get the key go to the spring of the zone map to get to the special stagein the special stage you have to get a certain amountof rings to move on

Moonwalk
Your character can run backwards by holding R and preparing the Tag Action do not use it Run and jump in the air When in the air press the DPad in the opposite direction you are running and do not touch it afterwards Your character will run in a direction and he or she will be facing the other way This is best done as Sonic as he is the fastest character
Nice Tip
While the credits roll after you defeat the final boss you con press A B Start and Select to go to the main menu faster
