Temple Run

Temple Run is an endless runner game, developed and published by Imangi Studios for the iOS and Android. The player controls an 'explorer' who must travel through various environments, for as long as possible. There is no end to Temple Run, other than when the player dies.

When the game was initially released, the popularity soared to the point where other companies were making their own versions of the game. It also spawned a sequel, Temple Run 2, as well as two spinoff games, Temple Run: Brave and Temple Run: Oz, where the company partnered with Disney.

Gameplay

Temple Run is classified as an endless runner, with the sole objective of the game to run as far as possible. Your character is an explorer who steals an idol from a temple, which triggers demonic monkeys to chase after him. Since the game has no end at all, players keep playing in that session until they die.

Power-Ups

The Power-ups or Upgrades can be purchased in exchange for the coins collected in the game. Each power-up has five upgrade levels and once purchased, the changes in the runs become permanent, with a sixth level that can be purchased to turn them off.

Utilities

Unlike powerups, utilities are temporary one-use items which need to be purchased again after use.

Objectives

Objectives can be unlocked by performing certain actions during a run or by buying things from the store. Fulfilling objectives will increase your multiplier in any given game by x1, which is then applied to your score at the end.

Characters

At the start of the game, player can see only Guy Dangerous unlocked. Further characters can be purchased from the Temple Run store for the value indicated below. Except for the appearances, there is no real difference between the characters.

Cheats

At the main menu go to options and turn on tutoral and then go back and start to play it will tell you what to at the first turn, and only the first will this work, right about at the beginning of the turn swipe right 2 times and you should turn around sort of and keep going straight forever.
