Denz de Bayle is one of the main characters of this game. After his father never returned from The Third Crusade, Denz lost everything to his name - his land, his castle and his mother. One thing he does have is his father's Templar Tunics - he joins in on the assault of Biron Castle. By joining the assault Denz hopes of being enlisted on The Fourth Crusade on more hope of finding his father.
Denz who is one the bearers of this curse, believes that his father is the key to undoing this curse and reclaiming their family's honour.
Joining The Fourth Crusade is the only way to find his father, who has been missing for eight years. With his father;s help, Denz will be able to gain vengeance on his unclue who is responsible for killing Denz's mother and the taken of all da Bayle's properlty.
While on his adventures Denz runs into Death whos tries to kill him and corrupts his and his friend's mind.
