Battlefield Heroes is a Free To Play, third person shooter game based upon WWII. It was initially developed by DICE, by is now being developed by Easy Studios, and published by EA for PC. The game was released on June 25 of 2009, and it was released under EA's "Play 4 Free" model, with revenue generates from advertisements and microtransactions.
This cartoon shooter offers a variety of weapons, factions, classes, map, missions, and an extremely large variety of character customization. The amount of clothing available adds a new perspective to your normal third person shooter. There are currently 13 different maps, the newest being Inland Invasion. Updates are made regularly and content is added regularly as well. For example, the newest update brought more of a WWII aspect to the game, whereas the one before it added a new-ish, modern style of "suits and shades", and the one before that added a western feeling.
