Blacklight: Retribution is a free-to-play (F2P) first-person shooter from Zombie Studios. It is a sequel to their previous game, Blacklight: Tango Down, which was critically and commercially unsuccessful. The game takes place within a fictional, science-fiction based future and uses weapons and tools to match this.
This game abandoned the single-player mode of its less-successful predecessor to make the game entirely multiplayer. In addition, Blacklight: Retribution refines the gameplay of the first game by adding new features such as the Combat Points system which allows players to buy new heavy weapons and health at weapon depots during battles.
