The game takes place on a chess/checkers like board with hexagonal boxes on it. The object of the game is to destroy three out of five idols of your enemy.
The battlefield is divided into two equal parts with each part having fifteen hexagonal grids. The idols are placed at the very back of your section, beyond the hexagons, while the remaining space is used to place offensive and defensive units and structures to help you attack the enemy's idols and defend your own respectively.
The attacking order is determined by the placement of your units on the grid which means that units closest to the enemy's side of the board will attack first.
And since each unit attacks only in a straight line, placement of units become crucial because some units attack each turn whlie others take two or three turns to charge before attacking. Thus, units that require charging need to be placed on the back of the board while those that attack each turn should be on the front line.
