Warframes are the exo-skeletons that all players wear, granting them various abilities like faster movement speed, the ability to jump higher and even special powers. Each one is different and requires you to purchase them, either with Platinum (in-game currency bought with real-world money) or buying the blueprints with Credits. At the end of the in-game tutorial, you get to choose from one of three Warframes (Excalibur, Loki or Mag).
Abilities
Each Warframe has four different and unique abilities at its disposal, that it can use in combat. These abilities cannot be shared with others and range from offensive attacks, to defensive ones and even utility spells. Abilities use Energy and every player begins a mission with 50 Energy.
This Energy can be replenished with items dropped from enemies, as well as with Mods or even other abilities.
