I tried deleting the friend on facebook and it's still in the app. I even tried reinstalling the app. The reason I ask is that this person is someone I haven't know for years and she has a much higher score than I do, so it's difficult to proceed in the game. Thanks.

you cant. they are your facebook friends therefore you would have to delete them from facebook or any social media that you are logged in from.
