As you enter this level, move to the dresser next to the elevator. There is a picture on top of it. Look behind it and you will find a cog. Pick it up and look inside the dresser in the second drawer to find a screwdriver. Pick this up as well. On the table to the right of the elevator, zoom up to the sticky note. As you move the sticky note to the right, a green pattern will be revealed. Remember this pattern. Now zoom out and look at the typewriter to see that out of the 3 holes, the far left has a yellow dot. Next, go to the other room. Look under the globe to see that out of the 3 holes, the far right has a red dot. Look at the map above the fireplace. Underneath it there is a blue pattern. Out of the 3 holes, the middle one is a blue dot. Go to the first room again and look at the back of the clock. Change the dots to yellow blue red, then the half-circle to green (from under sticky note).Pick up the key that pops out. Use the key to open the cabinet underneath the clock.
Next, pick up the fire extinguisher, go to the other room and extinguish the fire in the fireplace. Look inside the fireplace and you'll see a key screwed down. Use the screwdriver to get the key. Above the globe there are 4 books. Pull them out in order so they all come out. Just see which one pulls out and then try another. If it resets, start over and try another. You will have to figure this out through trial and error. The solution is: Blue, Black, Tan and Brown. Use your key to open the box. Take the cog inside. Now, look above dresser and move painting to the right to reveal red and yellow pattern. This is for the code on the tall bookshelf in the other room. Yellow is in the middle, then red. Under the sticky note, there was a green pattern, and above the fireplace under the map was the blue one. So, looking at the sizes of each pattern, the order from inside to outside is Yellow (ball in the middle), blue (rainbow right side up), red (only top right side), and green (rainbow right side up).Or you can press the middle ball 2 times, blue layer 2 times, red layer 3 times, and green layer 2 times. Press the red button and take the pencil.
Go to the notebook on the desk to the right of the elevator. Use the pencil to reveal the door code pattern by selecting the pencil and dragging your finger all over the top left side of the binder paper. You'll see 5 patterns: Triangle Square X Circle Triangle. Go to the elevator button and put the two cogs in. Then change the patterns: Triangle Square X Circle Triangle Or you can press the buttons in this order from left to right: 2 times, 3 times, 0 times, 1 time, 2 times. If you put the cogs in after changing the pattern, keep pressing one of the shapes until it comes back to where it should be and the elevator doors will open. Now you can escape this floor.
