Candy Blast Mania is a Match-3 game from the makers of Jewel Mania and Bubble Mania. Similar to other Match-3 games, such as Candy Crush Saga, your job is to swap candy with their neighboring candies to make combos of disappearing candy and get the ultimate high score.
Basic Gameplay
The aim of the game is to swap candy to match three or more of the same color. This will clear the candy from the board and lower new candy in its place.
When you match more than 3 candies a bonus count will be added to the surrounding colored candies that will only last through the next turn.
In addition to straight lines, you can also create cross-shaped or l-shaped matches for a Sugar Blast effect.
Every time you restart you use up one energy point and when you are out of energy you have to wait for it to refill or ask friends via facebook/social networking to send you extra lives.
Quick Start Guide
Push Notifications
When you first start the game you will be asked if you would like to allow push notifications. This is good if you want reminders every now and again from the game, including updates, new material etc. If this is not your thing, simply press No and the game will not disturb you until you find the time to play it.
Stage Select
Here you will select what stage you would like to challenge and the previously completed ones, with a star ranking you received next to them.
Another way of easily seeing the levels that you have completed is by the star. If the star is smiling then that level has already been completed and a star ranking has been given. If a star is sad then that level has not yet been attempted.
Challenges
The orange tab at the bottom of the stage select screen will display a list of challenges if you drag it up. The list will contain challenges that you have completed or have yet to complete. You will earn Keys by completing challenges.
Objectives
Some stages will require you to clear a set of objectives, such as collecting a specific amount of each color. These must be completed before you finish a level to proceed to the next level.
Sweet Spot
Matching four candies will get you a Sweet Spot, which can be swapped to create another match. Instead of clearing the matching candies, Sweet Spots will clear out all the candies of the same color on the entire board at that time.
Mixing several Sweet Spots will clear a good portion of the board.
Candy Scoop
If you match five or more candies in a row you will gain the Candy Scoop. Candy Scoops can be used to collect all candies of a specific color and add it to your candy total.
