Tips and Strategies
Know the Enemy Types
General enemies are easy to defeat, but watch out for special types. If you see an enemy with a large shield, do not try to attack it, as it will block all attacks. However, you can defeat it by jumping on it's head. Larger enemies are also difficult to defeat because they take multiple hits. Attack them immediately and rapidly, or use a special attack against them.
Switches
In some sections, there are small, easy-to-miss switches on the floor. If you see these, run over them to activate them. These switches are often followed by a particularly difficult set of hazards, such as flames or electric fences. The switches will shut these off, so missing the switches could end up being fatal.
Super Hero Tokens
If you see one of these tokens, grab them immediately. The heroes have much greater, unique abilities that the agents don't have. They can clear the screen with their special attacks and they will grant an extra hit, seeing as getting injured will just switch back to an agent rather than instantly killing you.
Purchasing Things
Everything in the game can technically be unlocked without spending any money. However, characters are made to be particularly difficult to unlock in order to enourage you to spend money. Unlockable characters can run anywhere from 75,000 to 100,000 gold, which will take an extremely long time to acquire. Spending real money will get you gems, which can be used to unlock characters rather than using gold.
Promo Offers
Stay on the lookout for promotional offers that the game will often give you. These will typically require you to fill out a brief survey or something of that nature. These can get annoying and will break up the gameplay, but if you cooperate, it can earn you a lot of free gold.
Iron Man's Unibeam
Each character has a special attack, but Iron Man's is likely the most powerful. It clears the screen completely, destroying any enemies and hazards that are visible, regardless of whether or not they're shielded. Don't overuse special attacks, because if you find yourself in a particularly dangerous situation, they can be life-saving.
