If you aren't that patient to come across it by clearing the islands, you can also buy them in the store. Just click the tab that shows the kind of money you get for clearing obstacles on the island (I personally refer to them as deblunes.) Provided you have enough of the currency, you can buy them there. -
In the first archipelego, randomly. Go island by island. Don't visit the islands until before you are about to be granted new food and fuel, go to the island. Use up food and fuel. When you are granted new food and fuel, go and finish clearing the island. Clear one island after another in this way. You should find all the items you need to upgrade in the first archepelego.

I found two compasses on the first archipelego

Buy the compass. the coins you get on the archipelagos are different. go to the store, open the last icon with the coin. There you will find a compass to buy.

I also want to know how to complete -
Question, I am on the second island of the 6th archipelago and curious what reward did you receive for completing the quest. Most other quests tell you what the reward is, this one didn't.

To get to the Cave of Fear, you must clear the main quests, which will eventually ask you to clear the eggs. once you've cleared all of them, the cave will become available.

2 plant acid, 6 spider legs, 8 green crystals. do you know where the cave of fear is for the spider legs? i dont :(

I personally haven't done it, but I would imagine that its giving your Facebook friends items from the game, possibly to get them to start playing.

My top mid right, near the pyramid, like Skye describes, is called Spider Lair.

I only do deliveries when I'm upgrading the warehouse since it takes days. I've heard that there are 40+ and also that they never end. How many are there before the quest goes away?

If you don't want to see or do the quest, you can simply delete the quest. It'll take 15 minutes for a new, alternate delivery to come back up, though.

After you finish one quest, it will give you more deliveries for the next quest.

When you harvest something, grass, bamboo, ferns, etc, sometimes a creature will turn up. If it's a rat, that is when you 'drive them away'.

Is anyone else unable to connect to Facebook through the game? I haven't tried to connect to the game through Facebook yet but when I'm playing and I try to connect through the games interface it says unable to connect, this is regardless of my wifi and...
