    I had that problem, as well, and, obviously, a lot of other players have, as well. The answer is to continue clicking on the handle until it finally drops the bag that you need for the bat. It's annoying as H*ll, but, that's what it takes.

    Keep clicking on the handle. It took me clicking on it around 15 times before it started to loosen up. I could have been doing it wrong, making it take that long, and it may have something to do with how fast you click on it, but it finally worked for me. :)

    Ha... figures, I went back into the game and managed to get it. The hint button started working again for no apparent reason. I had to open up the sprayer with my scissors and put the rat poison in it. D'oh!

    I was stuck on this one too, but after reading Maggie May's suggestion, I decided to continue to click on the stupid pump handle until my finger fell off! Fifty times, at least!!

    Nothing happened, so finally, in pure frustration, I starting clicking really, really fast (even when the purple pointer wasn't activated), and lo and behold, a very large drop of water glugged out and FINALLY caused the small pouch to float up out of the drain. Whew!

    Just keep at it. Keep hitting that mouse and a small tied pouch will come up from the drain. It was SO frustrating, but it finally worked. Good luck!
