Yoichi Yamada has performed in Director and Assistant Director roles across a number of Nintendo games.
He started out in the EAD division as a technology chief. Yamada's first major effort came in creating and applying the FX Technology on the Super Famicom. Yamada then made the move into game design and got a major opportunity with Super Mario 64 as a course designer. Yamada then become very involved with Shigeru Miyamoto's The Legend of Zelda franchise and has now worked on almost every Zelda released since the NES days.
