The Nintendo Gamecube is Nintendo's fourth home console. It is the successor to the Nintendo 64 and has sold over 21 million units world wide. The system launched in NA on November 18th 2001 and was discontinued February 22nd 2007. It's top selling games was Super Smash Bros. Melee which sold over 7 Million units. The Gamecube competed with Microsoft's Xbox, Sony's PlayStation and Sega's Dreamcast (Which had been discontinued before the Gamecubes launch).
