I talked to my brother - who might be just as crazy about video games as Kirito himself! - and he said just switch around each party member's skills to fit your fighting style, remove any Rank 1 weapons you can and upgrade all weapons of the party members. Don't worry about anyone not in your party because they won't be fighting, so don't waste your resources on them. Also, he said to practice any button combinations that you want to use more but haven't memorized. The monsters by the farmhouse worked great for this! Also, equip to each party member defense items, boosters, etc. Equip as much as you can to each party member, but I wouldn't worry about elements - these dragons didn't use any flaming attacks like you'd think they would - so try to focus on attack and defense boosters. This whole process is what my brother calls 'grinding', and I did it and it really worked! I was a whole lot more confident in my party after I did all this and confronted the dragons again.
