In the Philippines a bill has just passed the hearing committee stage that will effectively ban computer shops from hosting Multiplayer Online Battle Arena games, according to Manila Link.
This is all part of the continued fallout caused by a double murder in Cavite; a crime which was reportedly caused when an argument in Defense of the Ancients bubbled over into real life. A number of towns and cities in the region had already banned MOBA games from being played in shops as a result.
